Description:

In this part of the process an agenda is negotiated that draws on both the client’s and practitioner’s expertise to agree on a shared purpose, which gives the practitioner permission to move into a directional conversation about change.

This highly interactive session will focus on tools and techniques for generating focus by the practitioner for the clients in a Health Center setting.

 

Objectives:

  • Identify at least 2 tools used to support focus on a specific behavior change
  • Use MI tools to support engagement & focus in the MI process
Participants will join this session via Zoom, and will require access to high-speed internet and a computer with audio and visual capabilities. After registration you will be sent a Zoom link to join the class day of.
