STICH AmeriCorps Program Coordinator
As the Program Coordinator for the Service to Improve Community Health (STICH) AmeriCorps Program, I provide administrative support to our AmeriCorps Members who commit ten months of service to FQHC’s across the state by providing services focused around health education and health insurance literacy. My primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance across the program, tracking and collecting various program data, as well as the facilitation of orientations and monthly trainings for the members.
As a proud alum of the STICH AmeriCorps Program myself, I had the incredible opportunity to serve with First Choice Health Centers and contribute to many of their ongoing projects. My time as a STICH Member exposed me to the incredible work that the FQHCs and CHCACT do on a daily basis and strongly influenced my decision to want to be a part of the CHCACT team and mission.
I am a graduate of the University of Connecticut at Storrs where I studied Public Health and Health Promotion. Go Huskies!!
