COVID Vaccinator – TEMP

LOCATIONS: COVID-19 Vaccination Nurse is conducted at the UCFS sites in Norwich and Griswold but our community pop up testing sites could also be anywhere in the service area our health centers serve Eastern CT. (M-F some weekends)

QUALIFICATIONS:  Providers with current CT license.  Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred at Norwich location.

JOB SUMMARY:  UCFS is looking for licensed professionals to help administer the COVID-19 vaccine to the community.  This is a temporary position.  Clinical activities may include administering vaccines, assisting with monitoring patients who have received a vaccine for adverse reactions, other clinical activities that fall under their license or training, or non-clinical activities as needed.  The role will require a high degree of comfort and confidence dealing with the public, and will include hands-on care for individuals seeking the COVID-19 vaccination.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with current CT license.
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred
• Typing and computer skills essential.
• Experience in a primary care setting or COVID response a plus.
