LOCATIONS: COVID-19 testing is conducted at the UCFS  sites in Norwich, Griswold and Plainfield  but our community pop up testing sites could also be anywhere in the service area our health centers serve (Eastern CT

JOB SUMMARY:  The COVID Testing Nurse will assist in the organization’s effort to provide COVID testing at our office locations and in community settings.  This individual will collaborate with our existing team to facilitate high quality, best practice COVID testing according to company policy and procedure.  The role will require a high degree of comfort and confidence dealing with the public, and will include hands-on care for individuals seeking testing for COVID-19.  Additional responsibilities will include charting of tests performed, communication of negative results to patients by phone, and answering COVID test related questions from members of the community.  Monday – Friday 9-11 and some weekend

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

•       Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with current CT license.
•       Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred in areas of Willimantic/Norwich testing.
•       Typing and computer skills essential.
•        Experience in a primary care setting or COVID response a plus.
