Mental Health Clinician – School Based Health Center
Overview:
Family Centers Inc., School Based Health Centers (SBHC) Program is looking for an energetic mental health clinician (LPC, LMFT or LCSW) to staff a school-based outpatient clinic in lower Fairfield County, CT. This is a 10-month position and is based on the approved public school calendar. SBHC mental health clinicians provide health education (both large and small group instruction), individual, family, and group counseling to students in a middle and high school and work as part of an interdisciplinary health care team with a nurse practitioner and health educator.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have successfully completed a master’s or post-master’s degree from an accredited counseling program (PC, MFT or MSW) and ideally already possess a current active license to practice as a masters level social worker in the State of Connecticut. Bilingual/bi-cultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
