We are presently recruiting for a full-time Procurement Manager to join our Finance Department in our Bridgeport Headquarters.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and administering all procurement related activities for the finance department while assisting in the procurement process of office materials, supplies and equipment, including medical supplies.
Negotiate and review bids and proposals from vendors. Implement and manage centralized automated purchasing system, inventory levels and reorder points. Maintain all records pertaining to the history of each requisition on costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories. Conducts analysis of program policies and procedures, develops plans, formulates guidelines, implements new developments and procedures, and provides policy interpretation for finance to purchasing customers within OHC guidelines. Prepare program guidelines, status reports and presentations for Finance and executive staff.
Education: Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of accounting theory and methods preferred.
Experience: Three to five years of purchasing experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
