Pediatric APRN/Physician’s Assistant

UCFS is currently seeking a full-time (35-hours/week) Pediatric APRN or Physician’s Assistant to work in collaboration with the UCFS physicians and team members at our School-Based Health Centers in Waterford and in a primary care clinic. The ideal candidate is comfortable being responsible for providing quality patient centered primary care services for children and youth including comprehensive physical examinations, routine and appropriate sick care assessments, and interventions; developing and implementing patient management plans, records, progress notes, performing therapeutic procedures such as but not limited to: injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, patient and family instruction and counseling regarding adherence with therapeutic regimen, normal growth and development, and health promotion recommendations.

APRN Requirements:

• Master’s of Science Nursing
• Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure, licensed to practice in the State of CT
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid

Physician’s Assistant Requirements:

• Master’s degree in accredited PA program
• Valid Physician’s Assistant licensure, licensed to practice in the State of CT
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid
