Mental Health Clinicians
Family Centers is a private, non-profit organization offering education and human services to children, adults, and families living in Lower Fairfield County. Our counseling and mental health services help individuals, groups, couples and families resolve a wide range of personal and relationship issues. All services are facilitated by trained mental health professionals and provided in our licensed and accredited centers located in Greenwich, Stamford and Darien.
We are currently seeking seeking several licensed full-time professionals to provide mental health counseling. The mental health clinician provides individual, couple, family, and group treatment for children, adolescents, and families. This position requires the applicant to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team including psychiatric and medical professionals.
Since the start of the pandemic, this role day-to-day is currently being conducted remotely on a virtual Telehealth platform. Please note that this will not be remote long term and future plans include returning to an in-person office setting once it’s appropriate to do so in the best interest of clients and staff and per guidance from state and federal guidelines. In addition, it is important to be able to work some evening hours in order to better meet the needs of our community. Mental Health Clinicians and Supervisors currently have the option of working remotely with the exception of School Based Health Centers.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or relevant degree
- Preferred: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LPC, LMFT
- Supervisory experience helpful
- Experience working with a wide range of populations
- Telehealth experience
- Grief counseling helpful
- A willingness to work evenings
- Knowledge and experience with electronic health records
- Flexibility to provide counseling both in person and virtually
- Preferred: Bi-lingual Spanish
- Preferred: Supervisory experience
