LPN Float Nurse

First Choice Health Centers (FCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in East Hartford, Manchester and Vernon, Connecticut.

The LPN Float Nurse is primarily responsible for managing urgent and emergent patient calls across all disciplines, in addition to performing licensed professional nursing functions to assess the needs and severity of patients requesting healthcare services.

The LPN Float Nurse functions as an essential member of the healthcare team, facilitating patient medication refills, managing providers’ schedules, counseling patients and other related tasks as needed.

Vaccine administration experience needed.

This position is 100% floating to provide coverage of our Vernon, Manchester, East Hartford offices, as needed. The LPN Float Nurse can expect to participate at COVID Testing Sites and Flu Clinics as needed, working closely with the LPN Nursing Supervisor and the Director of Clinical Services to ensure quality care, nursing coverage and patient care throughout the Center.
