Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. seeks a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Under the direction of the Chief of Behavioral Health, the position is responsible for providing individual, group and family behavioral health care services to patients of the Greater Danbury Community Health Center.  The position will assess psychosocial needs of the patient, develop treatment plans, conduct individual, group and family therapy, and facilitate necessary referrals. Successful candidates must possess a graduate degree from an accredited counseling program, with concentration in case and group work. The mental health professional must hold a certification from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Knowledge of the social, psychological, economic and medical factors that influence the behaviors of individuals, experience facilitating group work, and familiarity with community referral sources is necessary.
