Optimus Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Care Center with sites in Bridgeport, Stamford, and Stratford, CT. We are the largest provider or primary health care services in Fairfield County, proudly serving all patients regardless of their income, race, or insurance status.
We are currently recruiting for an IT Director to provide administrative oversight for Optimus Health Care’s information technology including the planning, training and implementation of the electronic medical and dental records program and related billing functions
Must be flexible to travel to all of Optimus’s sites as needed.
Direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, computer services, network communications and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. Provide coordination and facilitation of computer operations among all OHC sites. Work cooperatively under the supervision and direction of the Chief Operating Officer of Optimus Health Care, Inc.
Provide leadership and direction in order to meet the federally mandated and operational expectations of Optimus Health Care, Inc. In coordination with the COO, ensure that the structure, mechanisms and processes are in place at all OHC sites to enable the clinician’s and staff to fulfill Optimus’ mission
ADDITIONAL GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Professional positive attitude, vision, understanding of customer service principals, trustworthiness, and excellent interpersonal skills to successfully accomplish tasks necessary to meet high standards of ethical and social responsibility required by this position. Continuous training and education.
EDUCATION: Combination of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and five (5) years’ experience in a senior level information technology position. Role requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
EXPERIENCE: Experience with implementation of information technology integrations in a large division/organization in a health field preferred. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
