Human Resources Generalist

(Full-time; 40 hours/week)

Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty-seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam.  Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.

LOCATION: Willimantic, CT

Job Summary:  The Human Resources Generalist is responsible to perform daily functions of the Human Resources Department to include recruitment (sourcing, hiring and onboarding new staff,) administration and compliance of State and Federal leaves of absence such as FMLA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation and Short-Term Disability, prepare and deliver training to all levels of staff, enforcing company policies and practices, as well as maintenance/retention of all employee records and associated paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree or professional certification a plus.
• Experience in performing human resource related functions.
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) encouraged to apply
