Grant Writer

Community Health & Wellness Center in Torrington has an opening for a part time, 24 hour Grant Writer. Experience with Federal and State grants and HRSA and EHB preferred.

Flexible schedule with the possibility of working from home office, must also be available to be onsite as needed.

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Development, Philanthropy, Communications, English or related degree. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in professional-level grant writing for a nonprofit organization. Direct experience in writing and editing successful grant proposals; demonstrated proven ability to research grant prospects for proposal writing.

Experience with grants management preferred.

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and other applications. Must have demonstrated strong verbal and written skills.

Required experience:

• 4-6 years previous FQHC grant writing experience
