Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) / Infection Control Coordinator

StayWell Health Center seeks

• a motivated, self-starting nurse to work in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, Chief Medical Officer, and Human Resources Director
• a confident and effective nurse able to work effectively independently as well as part of a team

• a nurse who must be caring, knowledgeable, dedicated, and detail-oriented

Principle duties include staff education, training, and competency assessment.

Examples of this Registered Nurse’s responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with Infection Control policies to minimize risk including but not limited to creating and implementing protocols and evaluating for success
• Certifying employee health compliance of immunizations, N95 mask fittings, TB testing, flu vaccinations, staff health certifications as required by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (and CPR* certification *as applicable)
• Promoting wellness and access to preventative health & safety measures to all StayWell Health Center employees
• Maintaining staff confidentiality at all times
• Representing StayWell Health Center in a positive and professional manner consistently

REQUIRED:

• Current, unrestricted State of Connecticut RN license and current CPR certification

• Availability to work eight-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30AM and 8PM
• Current PPD testing result and immunizations

• Travel to all StayWell sites in Waterbury and Naugatuck
• Consistent, reliable transportation required between StayWell sites throughout the Greater Waterbury area

Bilingual skills in Spanish or Albanian are a plus.
