Full time Board Certified in Internal Medicine. At least 5 years of experience in primary care, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred but not required. Chief of Internal Medicine will work closely with the Residency Program Director in maintaining the teaching and ACGME accreditation of the program. Candidate is expected to oversee the operations of the Health Center’s Internal Medicine Department, including Residency program (along with the Residency Program Director) and provide (part-time) primary care to a diverse population of adults in the greater Danbury area.
Requirements: M.D. or D.O. Degree required; Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice in the State of CT; Board certified / Board eligible; three years post Residency; Western CT Health Network accredited (or eligible to be accredited); 2 years supervisory experience; and Bilingual capacity (English/Spanish) preferred.
