Dental Assistant

Community Health & Wellness Center, a federally qualified healthcare center located in Torrington, is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant.

Dental Assistant duties include preparing patients for examination and treatment, taking patient histories and documenting in patient chart, preparing operatory with necessary instruments and supplies as well as chair-side assisting for all general dentistry procedures.
Requirements for the Dental Assistant include:
•Associate’s Degree preferred•Dental Assistant Certification required•At least one year work experience preferred•Knowledge of dental office procedures and equipment•Dental terminology and basic computer skills
