COVID Testing Registrar – TEMP

(Part-time OR Full-time TEMP Positions– 8 to 40 hours/week)

LOCATIONS: COVID-19 testing is conducted at the UCCFS  sites in Eastern CT but our community pop up testing sites could also be anywhere in the service area our health centers serve

JOB SUMMARY:  The COVID Testing Registrar will assist in the organization’s effort to provide COVID testing at our office locations and in community settings.  The COVID Testing Registrar serves as the first point of communication for the patients accessing the health center both on telephone and in person for COVID Testing.  This person makes COVID test appointments, greets walk-up patients, distributes and collects all paperwork necessary to activate patient, data enters all relevant information into computer, checks out the patient, and coordinates COVID testing services with team members as directed while providing excellent customer service.

  • High school diploma, post-secondary school education preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred for testing in Willimantic/Norwich areas.
  • Typing and computer skills essential.
  • Experience in a health care setting a plus.
