COVID Testing Assistant – TEMP
(Part-time OR Full-time TEMP Positions– 8 to 40 hours/week)
LOCATIONS: COVID-19 testing is conducted at the UCFS sites in Griswold, Norwich and Plainfield but our community pop up testing sites could also be anywhere in the service area our health centers serve (Eastern CT)
JOB SUMMARY: The COVID Testing Assistant will support the organizations effort to provide COVID testing at our office locations and in community settings. This individual will collaborate with our existing team to facilitate high quality, best practice COVID testing according to company policy and procedure. The role will require a high degree of comfort and confidence dealing with the public, and will include hands-on care for individuals seeking testing for COVID-19. Additional responsibilities will include charting of tests performed, communication of negative results to patients by phone, and answering COVID test related questions from members of the community with guidance from the COVID RN. M-F 9-11 and some weekends.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant with documented education/experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred in testing areas of Willimantic/Norwich.
- Typing and computer skills essential.
- Experience in a primary care setting or COVID response a plus.
