COVID Hotline Nurse

COVID Hotline Registered Nurse – TEMP

(TEMP – 40 hours/week)

Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam.  Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.

LOCATION: Willimantic, CT

LONG TERM TEMP ASSIGNMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:  Registered Nurse with current CT license.  Maintain current CPR certification.  Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred in areas of Willimantic/Norwich testing.  Typing and computer skills essential.  Experience in a primary care setting or COVID response a plus.

JOB SUMMARY:  The COVID Hotline Registered Nurse (RN) will identify and proactively support COVID-19 patients, providing education and care coordination.  This person will help patients and care teams keep up with the constant updates in prevention, treatment, testing guidelines and vaccination in this rapidly changing environment.  The COVID Hotline RN may also assist in the organization’s effort to provide COVID testing and vaccination at our office locations and in community settings.  This individual will collaborate with our existing testing and vaccination teams to facilitate high quality, best practice COVID testing and vaccination according to company policy and procedure.
