Full time Board Certified / Board eligible, this position is responsible for the proper functioning of all clinical activities of GDCHC. The CMO is the clinical leader of the FQHC and provides oversight and management in regard to all clinical areas, functions, programs and projects, including clinical program planning and implementation, and supervision. This position works closely with the Health Center Management Team, to ensure efficient and effective coordination of all aspects of the Center. Also responsible for all aspects of the Institute Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement program, and provides clinical technical support to the Board QA / QI Committee. Provides (part-time) primary care in his or her medical field to a diverse population of residents in the greater Danbury area.
Requirements: M.D., D.O., DDS or DMD Degree required; Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice in the State of CT; Board certified / Board eligible; Five years post Residency; Western CT Health Network accredited (or eligible to be accredited); 3 years supervisory experience; and Bilingual capacity (English/Spanish) preferred.
