First Choice Health Centers has an opening for a Certified Nurse Midwife. We are a rapidly growing nonprofit health center (FQHC) comprised of Physicians, PAs/NPs, Behavior Health Clinicians, Dentists and other health care personnel.

The Certified Nurse Midwife will manage the care of women in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods as well as provide non-surgical gynecologic care.

This includes prescribing medical, diagnostic and therapeutic measures in accordance with established protocols. The Practitioner will be knowledgeable about agency and clinical policies, keep all patient information confidential, and shall assume responsibility for the development and realization of an individual ongoing care plan for all patients including the performance of selected procedures.

The Certified Nurse Midwife must work under a Collaboration Practice Agreement with a licensed OB/GYN in the State of Connecticut.
