Health centers are constantly challenged to recruit and retain qualified, mission-driven providers and staff. NCAs and PCAs support health center workforce development in a range of ways from in-house provider recruitment to job posting to connecting health centers to useful resources. One valuable resource, the Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW), has a number of programs that can strengthen health center recruitment efforts.

During this webinar, BHW staff will provide an overview, share updates, and answer questions regarding the National Health Service Corps, NURSE Corps, and behavioral health workforce programming.

Learning Objective: Participants will learn 2-3 strategies to utilize federal recruitment programs and resources that support health center workforce.

  • What BHW programs are you or your health centers currently utilizing and in what capacity?
  • What suggestions, tips, or lessons learned can you share with your colleagues?
