Thursday, September 20, 2018 will be the second annual Hungry for Change Fall Conference organized by Connecticut Food Bank, End Hunger Connecticut!, and Foodshare to engage in critical conversations and collaboration in working together towards a hunger-free Connecticut. All are welcome to attend – please share this invitation with others.

Keynote Speaker: Hugh Price, activist, former President of the National Urban League, author of This African-American Life: A Memoir
A graduate of Amherst College and Yale Law School, Hugh Price served for nine years as the head of the National Urban League, retiring in 2003. He has worked in public television and journalism, including editorial writer for the New York Times. For many years, Price was directly involved in improving the quality of life of disadvantaged people in New Haven in several roles with private organizations and in local government.
Topics will include: using data and community voice to raise awareness and support for the issue of hunger; updates on the current state of federal nutrition programs and how you can take action; nonpartisan ways to get out the vote this November; and much more!
