  • organizing community-specific service projects
  • educating individuals on how to understand and utilize health insurance
  • empowering people to take charge of their health through education
  • coordinating health care and other services
  • removing barriers to health care access
  • raising awareness of health centers and the services available to people in the community.

The STICH AmeriCorps program presents great opportunities for recent graduates, individuals taking a gap year, young professionals or individuals looking make an impact within their communities while gaining valuable work experience and learning about a new career.
