The Practice Optimization Specialist functions as the primary contact for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other applications in FHCHC practices. They work under the direction of the IT Director to focus on optimization and support activities. A key activity will be to analyze the current workflows and issues and implement and monitor possible changes based on promoting best practice recommendations in accordance with the FHCHC policies and procedures. Attention to detail is a critical skill for this position, as well as being highly organized with exceptional customer service skills. Successful candidates enjoy helping other users learn and adopt usage of the application.
