|Population Health Initiative
The RCHN Community Health Foundation is pleased to announce a new grant program in support of Population Health Management. Community health centers, designated look-alikes and primary care associations are eligible to apply for this award. The Foundation expects to fund five (5) awards under this program, with an approximate amount of $125,000 per award. The deadline for submissions of Letters of Interest is 5:00 pm eastern time on Monday, July 24, 2017. Selected applicants will be invited to complete a full proposal. Award announcements are expected to be made in mid-October 2017.
|Access Increases in Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (AIMS)
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announces the availability of the FY 2017 Access Increases in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (AIMS) supplemental funding opportunity, to expand access to mental health services, and substance abuse services focusing on the treatment, prevention, and awareness of opioid abuse. Health centers will enhance these services by increasing personnel. They will also leverage health information technology (IT) and provide training to support the expansion of mental health services, and substance abuse services focusing on the treatment, prevention, and awareness of opioid abuse, and their integration into primary care. Applications are due July 26.
