CHCACT maintains a health center workgroup focused on The Joint Commission led by a Consultant and
staff from CHCACT. The group exchanges information on a monthly basis and meets at a minimum of
four times per year to review important updates on expectations of The Joint Commission and to share
best practices. In addition, CHCACT is also able to respond to periodic health center staff requests
for on-site training and development days led by consultant and/or CHCACT staff members.
The on-site training includes running mock patient tracer exercises, staff development learning
sessions and senior management training/development sessions.
